CAREER OVERVIEW
1996-Present: CEO – L.B. Associates (Pvt) Ltd
Mrs Hawke established L.B. Associates as a proprietary concern in 1996 with the launch of Diplomatist Magazine. The firm was incorporated as a private limited company in 2001 and now employs over 30 professionals in the contract publishing sector. Clients from 89 countries have outsourced publishing work to LBA in Noida.
Mrs. Hawke is publisher of Creature Companion (a petcare/pet industry magazine), which was launched in Year 2004.
In 2007, L.B. Associates (Pvt) Ltd, under the guidance of Mrs. Hawke launched the annual India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF). The third edition was held in early 2009; next in 2010.
She is also Secretary General of the IPIA (Indian Pet Industry Association).
Mrs Hawke has developed a team of possibility thinkers that is willing to consider any business proposal that they believe makes sense.
1992-1996: Country Head, DECTA – A British Aid Project
Mrs Hawke served as the country representative of a British Government Aid Program in which she single-handedly managed a team of British consultants that frequently visited India to assist the textile industry in improving quality to export standards. The assignment ended when the project ended.
1975-1992: Learning Experience/Character Building
Mrs Hawke commenced her working career in 1974 as a secretary. She worked for various international organizations including the Asian Development Bank and World Bank and for a number of multi-national corporations as executive assistant to the CEO.
Mrs Hawke is married to William Hawke, a citizen of Canada with PIO status. He and their son Trevor Brady work alongside her in the business.
